College news
English language exam, so my results in the professional courses this year were not particularly ideal. After determining the target college and major, I found that my grades did not allow me to successfully enter the dream school, so I decided to focus on professional courses in my junior year, and could not delay the most important thing because of other English improvements. Professional courses. The end of my sophomore year also sounded the alarm for me. If I want to be more relaxed during the application season, I must work hard to improve my professional performance and competitiveness in the coming year. Therefore, during the vacation after my sophomore year, I entered an internship at an accounting firm, hoping to learn more professional knowledge. (During your sophomore and junior years, you can use the winter and summer vacations to participate in more social practice and internships. You can choose to intern in a firm or a bank to experience different jobs and prepare for future choices.) But the most important thing is still You must ensure your grade points and get higher grade points as much as possible! ! Grades are the biggest persuasive factor when applying to colleges!
During my junior year, while studying professional courses, I also participated in scientific research projects, published papers, and participated in internships. But a lot of this was done during the holidays so that I could focus on my professional grades while in school. In addition, at the beginning of my junior year, I determined the final list of colleges to apply to with my agency teacher, brainstormed a more satisfactory CV and PS, and was fully prepared for subsequent applications. At the beginning of my senior year, I started delivering materials to various schools, and then I waited patiently! In fact, I did not receive any news two months after submitting the application, which made my parents and I feel very anxious. We even worried that we would not attend school. But fortunately, each school responded later, so everyone must wait patiently!
In fact, my grades are not as outstanding as other students. Part of the reason for achieving these grades is that I have sufficient preparation time. While ensuring my studies, I have done many projects, papers, and internships that can increase my competitiveness. Therefore, it is recommended that students determine their goal direction as early as possible, whether to choose to take the public postgraduate entrance examination for employment, or choose to study abroad, and prepare in advance. I am also very glad that I chose to retain my FOM student status when choosing whether to retain it, which also provided me with a great advantage in subsequent applications. Because under conditions of similar competitiveness and background, many colleges prefer to admit students with domestic and foreign double degrees or overseas graduates. Finally, I would like to thank all the teachers at the college who have been supporting me during my application. He took the trouble to issue a certificate for me, provided me with a lot of advice when I was confused about my choice, and also provided me with great help when my target school required me to submit additional materials.
The following are the application steps and required application materials that I compiled based on my personal application experience:
Application materials & personal information compilation:
Letter of recommendation
Transcripts (transcripts from both China and Germany, German diploma can add great advantages!)
Language transcript
Work certificate or internship certificate (Chinese and English, needs to be stamped)
Personal Statement (Personal Statement, analyze your strengths and advantages, why you applied for this major in this school, and future plans.)
CV (personal resume, the difference from PS is that it contains a large amount of information)
Certificates (awards obtained during school, qualification certificates, paper publications, practice, etc.)
Certificate of Enrollment/Graduation Certificate
Certificate of average scores and grading standards (you can ask the teacher of the Academic Affairs Office to issue it separately, it is not necessary, it is better if you have it)
