The school establishes a practical base for ideological and political education for college students in Linyi

Recently, led by our university, we have established a new college student ideological and political education practice base at the Menglianggu Campaign Memorial Hall in Linyi City. Zhang Ran, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the university, and Wei Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Mengyin County Committee, jointly unveiled the plaque and held discussions and exchanges for the college student ideological and political education practice base.

Zhang Ran expressed gratitude to Mengyin County and Menglianggu Battle Memorial Hall for their support in the construction of the base. She pointed out that the school has always adhered to the concept of cultivating virtue and talents for the Party and the country, strengthened patriotic education for young students throughout the process, and guided students to consciously integrate patriotism, national aspirations, and serving the country into the struggle to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. She stated that the school attaches great importance to the construction of practical bases for ideological and political education for college students. Through the joint construction of practical bases, the establishment of practical courses, the provision of volunteer services, and the use of extracurricular lectures, efforts have been made to create a ideological and political practice education system with the characteristics of Shandong Agricultural University. The construction of a new ideological and political education practice base for college students at the Menglianggu Campaign Memorial Hall has provided a new battlefield and platform for the school's ideological and political work, expanded new channels and enriched new content for ideological and political education. Next, Shandong Agricultural University will fully leverage the educational role of the practice base, organize students to learn and practice at the base, carry out themed educational activities, invite experts from the base to conduct special reports, exchange and discuss, and strive to achieve mutual exchange and sharing in educational resources, cultural inheritance, social services, and other aspects, and common development.

The Menglianggu Battle Memorial Hall is located in Duozhuang Town, Mengyin County, Linyi City. It is a red classroom in the southern Shandong region and has been named one of the top ten red tourism areas in China, a national patriotic education demonstration base, and one hundred classic red tourism scenic spots in China. It has been selected as a traditional education and national defense education base by more than 30 units, including the National Defense University, Academy of Military Sciences, Provincial Party School, and Youth League and Provincial Committee, And was rated as the Revolutionary Traditional Education Base in Shandong Province.

Officials from the Student Affairs Office, Horticultural College, and National Communications College participated in the event. Li Wei, Secretary of the College Party Committee and Dean, represented the school in signing a joint construction agreement with the Menglianggu Battle Memorial Hall.
