The International Exchange College Holds the 2023 Conference on Comprehensive Strict Governance of the Party

On April 13th, the International Exchange College held a conference on comprehensive strict governance of the Party and the construction of Party conduct and clean governance, summarizing the work of comprehensive strict governance of the Party and the construction of Party conduct and clean governance in 2022, and deploying the work tasks for 2023. Song Jie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, presided over the meeting, and all faculty and staff of the college attended the meeting.

At the meeting, United Front Work Commissioner Zhong Jie conveyed the spirit of the school's comprehensive and strict governance of the Party and the construction of Party conduct and clean government; Song Jie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, conveyed that the college will implement the main responsibility of comprehensive and strict governance of the Party and the key points of Party building work in 2023; Discipline Inspection Commissioner Liu Yunjie led the study of the Opinions on Implementing the System of Prohibitions from Employment (jointly issued by the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and the Ministry of Education in November 2022).

Subsequently, Li Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean, summarized the achievements and shortcomings of the college's comprehensive strict governance of the Party and Party building work in 2022. Three requirements were put forward for this year's college work: firstly, to improve political standing, enhance the organizational, cohesive, and creative capabilities of various levels and types of teams. Leaders at all levels should always bear in mind and conscientiously fulfill their responsibilities as the first responsible person, implement the dual responsibilities of one position, further strengthen team building, carry out in-depth ideological exchanges, political theory learning, and business ability improvement activities, and strengthen theoretical education and guard the safety bottom line. The second is to unite and cultivate morality and talents, and give full play to the leading role of party building in the development of the college. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the college. We must always bear in mind the mission of educating people for the Party and the country, make efforts in cultivating new talents of the times, fully leverage the political guarantee role of Party building ideological and political work in talent cultivation, integrate the development of Party building business, condense 20 years of educational experience, organize commemorative activities, focus on institutional reform, and promote the development of various work in the college. The third is to enhance the ability to perform duties and comprehensively enhance the quality of party building work and various aspects of work. We must adhere to a problem oriented, goal oriented, and outcome oriented approach, and effectively and meticulously carry out various tasks; To establish models, focus on guidance, and strictly enforce the education and management of party members; To build a brand, focus on characteristics, and use characteristic party building activities to help teaching, talent cultivation, and student work reach new heights. Targeted rectification measures and methods must be proposed to address the problems and deficiencies identified during the inspection process, in order to improve work efficiency.

The meeting emphasized that in 2023, the great cause of building a strong country and national rejuvenation will embark on a new journey. All faculty and staff of the college should further improve their political stance, unify their thinking, gather consensus, take the initiative to take responsibility, deeply understand the decisive significance of the two establishment, enhance the four consciousnesses, strengthen the four confidences, and achieve the two safeguards. They should adhere to a strict tone, implement the requirements of responsibility, and do a good job in integration, ensuring that the central task of moral education is implemented in place, and contribute to the construction of a first-class agricultural university.
